Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers are a thin, translucent porcelain shell that covers the front part and sides of teeth reflecting light similar to real teeth giving you a natural smile. Veneers can hide imperfections, chips, and gaps along with reshaping a tooth giving you a more aesthetic smile.
Porcelain Veneer Procedure
Dr. Barr will first create models to be able to treatment plan and create temporaries while going through treatment. To accommodate the veneer, the tooth will be conservatively prepared to accept the final veneer placement.
This will allow for a natural appearing tooth. An impression will be taken and sent to the lab technician to create a handmade custom veneer. Dr. Barr will create natural looking temporaries while awaiting the fabrication of the veneer. Dr. Barr will then bond the permanent veneer to the tooth. The final step is looking in the mirror, excited to see the new you!
